Group Guitar Classes

The vibe is 100% encouraging and everyone is learning – no need to feel nervous or intimidated. Mistakes are highly encouraged as they are great opportunities to learn!

Our group classes are small (usually 3 – 6 people) and we keep things light-hearted and friendly. Each class begins with participants reminding everyone of their name and saying one small thing about themselves. In this way we get to know a little bit more about each person each week and, over time, friendships are developed. We always state at the outset that mistakes are mandatory! If you’re making mistakes, it means you are pushing yourself and trying something new, which is what we are all here to do—to learn and grow together and challenge ourselves to move beyond our current limitations.

FAQs

Do you offer make-up classes?

Rescheduling individual classes is taxing on our teachers’ time and schedules so we do not do it. As a make up for any classes missed, though, feel free to drop in on any other group class if you’d like.

What if I need to drop out of class for a certain period of time (e.g. six weeks during volleyball season)?

Communicate this need to us and we can gladly place your monthly membership on hold.

I’d love to join a class but the cost is out of reach for me. Can you help?

Yes! We have a limited number of need-based scholarships available.
