Studio Manager
Overview:
The studio manager will oversee all day-to-day details of the operations of Riverside Guitar School. This person will be extremely reliable, detail-oriented and eager to go the extra mile to help Riverside run smoothly. This position will start part-time but will hopefully grow into a full time job.
Duties:
- Be a friendly and helpful face at the front desk, serving as cheerleader and problem solver for students and staff alike
- Handle billing and scheduling with students (emails, phone calls, texts, face-to-face communication)
- Contact new leads (stay up to date with our contact schedule even if this means putting in additional hours outside of front desk times)
- Organize and plan recitals / other special events
- Run errands as needed
- Fill in as a substitute teacher when needed
- Facilities tidying, cleaning and light maintenance
- Possible work with bookkeeping and financial records / documents
- Be a buffer between the owner and all day-to-day logistics of keeping Riverside running smoothly. The studio manager will be the first person students or staff come to with an issue and the studio manager will escalate the issue to the owner as needed.
- Help the owner in any other ways requested
Compensation:
- Negotiable hourly rate plus possible commission on new students enrolled
Starting Schedule (hours expected to change and grow over time–will need to have flexibility with hours scheduled):
- Monday – Thursday 4:30 – 9pm
- Friday 10am – 2pm
